6 Colors to Wear this Easter....

April 07, 2017

Hello Everyone!

Every year, I try to find a dress in the colors that are in season for Easter Sunday. This year's color that I have chosen is powder blue. This color like #5, is such a beautiful color and I have chosen this because of how light, fresh, and feminine it is. Interestingly, the dress I just purchased for Easter Sunday looks similar to #5 in style and in color. I always go for bold colors or white, but this year I have decided to try something different, and I love the color I have chosen.

Sometimes it is impossible to find the right dress in the right color so I have picked out 6 different colors that are trending this season. These list should be able to help you narrow down your choices of colors for that perfect Easter Sunday Dress.

COLORS:

1. Green - I think this color never goes out of style and it is the perfect color to wear for this season. But the real challenge is choosing the right shade of green.
Style Tip:

  • Choose the shade of green that compliments your complexion the most!

2. White - This is one of my favorite colors, especially for spring. It is such a versatile color and it can be paired with almost any other color.
Style Tip:

  • Choose the perfect LWD (Little White Dress) that fits your style.

3. Yellow - Picking the perfect yellow dress is also a challenge. This is also a color that many people do not like to wear as much because of how it may look on them.
Style Tip:

  •  Try to stay away from light shades of yellow if you have a darker complexion (they don't look that good); unless you look great in it, then stick with it!
  •  Opt for the bolder shades of yellow such as gold, canary, butter, etc, or even a more of the dull shades like mustard.  I find that they tend to look more flattering than the lighter shades of yellow.

4. Gray - This is an interesting color choice. I like its neutrality and just like the white, it can be paired with other colors as well, like yellow or purple.
Style Tip:

  • Choose more of a lighter gray, like ash, that fits well with other light colors like #4.

5. Powder (Baby) Blue - My favorite color for this season! I can't get enough of this color.
Style Tip:

  • Honestly this color looks great on just about any complexion. Try to find this a dress in this color that is flattering to your body shape.

6. Pink- This is one of the major colors for the season. I have been seeing it everywhere and I think this color is such a classic color for spring, and it looks beautiful on anyone.
Style Tip:

  • Choose any shade of pink that you like as long as it compliments your complexion. You have a little of bit of freedom here.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

9 Shoe Trends/Styles For Spring 2017....

April 05, 2017

Hello Everyone!

We are officially in spring mode and I am so excited for the many different fashion trends that are in this season. I have been online window-shopping (my guilty-pleasure!!) for some spring pieces to add to my wardrobe, and I have been seeing these nine shoe trends/styles everywhere online, especially on fashion bloggers.

My favorite style among these nine that I want to include in my wardrobe is the sling-back low block heels shoe, like number 6. I think they are the perfect combination between flat and block heels. I am sure there are many more trends/styles out there but these are the nine that I have noticed. Enjoy!

TRENDS:

1. Espadrilles: They are so feminine and I love the ones that have wedge bottoms.
2. High-block Mules w/. Sling-back: I am not entirely crazy about this trend
3. Ballet Flats w/. Ribbon: This trend reminds me of Audrey Hepburn and I love how feminine it is.
4. Embroidered Block-heels w/. RibbonI love this trend, especially because it is embroidered.
5. Low Mules Sandals: I like the uniqueness of this trend and I may try it this year to see how I feel about it.
6. Low Block-Heel Sandals w/. Sling-back: I like how vintage this trend looks.
7. Flats w/. Pearls: I like how edgy yet sophisticated this trend is.
8. Embroidered Flats: This trend is one of my favorites.
9. Tassel Mocassin or Loafer: This trend has sort of a vintage vibe to it.

That is all. I hope you enjoyed this post and please don't forget to subscribe, comment and follow me on social media.

Spring Floral...

March 22, 2017

Happy Wednesday!

The year is flying by so fast and I am so thrilled that SPRING is here already!(ahhhh!). There are many trends this spring that I'm excited to try and include in my wardrobe. One of the trends I have been loving lately is florals.

This trend add a sense of femininity to your wardrobe and it's perfect for anybody with a feminine style. I would recommend florals for anyone willing to try something different or update their style to a more feminine, soft, simple, classy, timeless, or elegant style.

STYLE TIP:

  • Choose a floral print that you love and one that you are going to get the most wear out of.
  • Also pick one that looks timeless and fits your personal style.
