1. Every girl needs a signature scent and it is so difficult to find a perfume that you like with so many brands out there. I chose this ChloĆ© Coffret perfume gift set because it is one of the easiest ways to try a perfume without spending money on an expensive one that you do not like. Also, I think it makes the perfect holiday gift for a friend, sister, or as a secret-santa gift.

2. I do not like my lips getting dry especially during this time of year and as a result, I chose the EOS lip-set because I love them and I think they are super moisturizing for your lips. This lip-set also makes a great holiday gift for a friend or anyone you know who is a lip-balm lover.

3. I love this Morphe Brush Set because it is so convenient for traveling, and I personally own this brush set and they are amazing. This will make a perfect holiday gift for the makeup-lover who is always on the go or for the new beauty-addict.

4. I love gifting people with gift-sets during the holiday season, mainly because they are less expensive than the individual products, and you get more products in one set. That is why I picked this MAC Lip-kit. I also picked this kit because of the color.

5. Makeup bags are always great to give as gifts during the holidays, especially when they are filled with makeup products. So I included this Makeup bag mainly because it looks so festive and it is also convenient for traveling.

6. Beauty is not just all about makeup so I included this Sheet Mask in the gift-guide for the beauty addict who loves to take care of her skin. Sheet Masks are fun to put on your face on a night in or on a chill-time during the weekends.

7. I like the idea of buying skincare trial kits such as this Clinique Set from Sephora. I love them because they help you to try the products before spending excessive amount of money on the individual products, if the particular skincare brand is good for you or not, and it is an awesome way to know if the products work or not.

8. Neutral eyeshadows are great for any skin-complexion and I picked this MAC Eyeshadow palette because it has amazing neutral colors and it is perfect for the girl on the go or the busy-beauty addict.

9. The holidays are the perfect time to give amazing gifts to the people that you cherish and also it is the perfect season to wear red. I love Chanel and I think that a Chanel Lipstick in red is a classic gift to give to that special friend or for yourself.

10. Lastly, I included this Bath and Body Works Shower Gel set because their products smell amazing, especially, their holiday inspired products.

P.S. This post is not sponsored by any of the above brands or retailers.

A Sudden Change......

November 16, 2016

I cannot believe Thanksgiving is only a week away! AHHHHH! It's crazy how fast time flies by, however this past weekend was bitter-sweet for me. Unfortunately, I lost a family member this weekend, and It is quite sad that he died around this time of year. Originally, I did not plan to wear black and red this weekend, but then I heard about this sudden news. So I decided to pair this black T-shirt with this red ankle pant. I did not have time to do my hair in the morning and this Floppy Wool Hat was the perfect solution to my dilemma. Also I decided do pair this look with this MAC Lipstick to brighten up my makeup.

Losing a family member is such a difficult experience to go through, especially with only 40 days left till Christmas and also only 46 days left until the end of the year. But I believe the only thing we can do after grieving is to just smile and remember the good times you shared with the person. Just as the Bible says, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4

3 Types Of Skincare Regimen for the Busy Girl....

October 29, 2016

When it comes to taking care of the skin, the face, especially is one of the most ignored areas. I am surprised at the number of women that do not take quality care of their skin. I once asked a friend if she had a skincare routine,  and she stated that she did not and also that she just used water and soap to cleanse her face. I was somewhat not surprised because many women do not see the importance of a healthy skin.

I believe that the reason many women ignore the health of their skin is because of lack of time, and lack of knowledge about how to start a skincare regimen or routine. Creating a beauty regimen does not need to be complicated or time-consuming as one thinks. After all, taking 10 minutes every morning and night can help improve the health of the skin. So I have come up with 3 regimens that require little time.

Enjoy!

Regimen 1:
These regimens includes 4 to 6 products and it takes between 5-10 minutes to complete depending on the speed of the person. The products include a: cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and sunscreen.

Steps:
1. Cleanse
2. Apply Toner
3. Moisturize
4. Apply Sunscreen

Regimen 2:
This regimen includes a serum, which helps with skin concerns such as wrinkles and fine lines.

Steps:
1. Cleanse
2. Apply Toner
3. Apply Serum
4. Moisturize
5. Apply Sunscreen

Regimen 3:
This regimen includes an eye-cream, which helps to protect the under-eye area and helps to reduce under-eye bags and dark circles.

Steps:
1. Cleanse
2. Apply Toner
3. Apply Serum
4. Moisturize
5. Apply Eye-cream
6. Apply Sunscreen

A Dillard's Event...

October 12, 2016

This past weekend was a memorable weekend for me, despite the hurricane. Dillard's at Cary Town
Center held a Gianni Bini event and this event was basically a showcase of the Gianni Bini stuff at Dillard's and a customer could get a free tote-bag with a Gianni Bini purchase.

I personally love Gianni Bini stuff: shoes, clothes, etc. I couldn't pass on this opportunity, and I am glad I went despite the heavy rain and harsh winds. I had the opportunity to style some of the clothes; and although, not many people could be there, it was still fun, and awesome. And I would gladly do it again.

Here are some of the pictures from the clothes I styled. Enjoy!

Products Review: Lancome...

October 1, 2016

Hello Everyone!!!

Today's post is a review of some few products from the brand, Lancome. I love this brand, because I think their products have such an amazing quality and I also think the prices are reasonable. I purchased only the foundation, and I ended up coming home with a tote bag filled with amazing samples, such as the blush, sunscreen, lipsticks, and the mascara. I bought the foundation at Macy's and let me just tell y'all, I love buying makeup at Macy's because they are always doing some kind-of promotion especially on brands such as Lancome, Estee Lauder, and Clinique.

I like this foundation. I do not necessarily love this as much as I love the Makeup Forever HD foundation. However, I do love how light-weight and color-friendly this foundation is. It retails for $47.00 at Macy's
I loved using this sunscreen during the summer. It definitely kept my face and neck from getting tanner.
This is a sample size so I do not know the retail price.
I love how light-colored this blush is. It is my go-to blush for whenever I don't feel like doing a full-glam makeup look.
Both of these lipsticks are gorgeous but I love the purple one more than the pinky-nude.

This mascara is great for your lower lashes and I love how little it is. It makes it easier to use.

I love this tote bag. It is so convenient especially for an overnight stay at a friend's house. It is also great for fitting everything from food to blanket when traveling.

P.S. This is not a sponsored post from Macy's or Lancome. This is just an honest review of the brand Lancome and how I love buying makeup at Macy's.

Lady In Red...

September 26, 2016

A little story about this dress:

So about two or three years ago around Christmas time, I had to go to a church event and I was in need of a dress to wear, specifically a red dress. I planned on shopping for a dress a month before, but for some reason, I never did. So I went shopping a day before I had to leave for the event. Unfortunately, I went to all the stores that I could think of, but I could not find anything that fitted or looked beautiful on me. It was quite overwhelming and frustrating.

So I decided to go to H&M (it was my last hope); and I decided to give up on dress shopping if I did not find anything there. The minute I entered the store, I saw this dress staring at me. I had seen this dress at a different mall that I went to earlier in the day, but I thought that it would be too big for me so I didn't even bother trying it on. However, when I tried this on at the Mall, I completely fell in-love with it. I loved how the color looked on me and how it fitted me. I was so relieved because I found what I was looking for, after a long day of running around town trying to find something to wear at the event. This is one of my favorite dress of all time!

Also this hat(from Nordstrom) is giving me life! This hat is such a lifesaver for bad hair-days and it looks chic and I love it!!

Oh My Beauty!

September 17, 2016

Happy Saturday!

Good Evening everyone and hope all is well with y'all. Today's post is a review about the Allure Beauty Box. The Allure beauty box is a monthly subscription box filled with 6 sample products from different makeup and skincare brands. The box is $15 a month. However, you get $5 off your first box, so you pay $10, which I think it is an amazing deal for the quality of the products.

I haven't tried all the products yet but I love the perfume in this box, because it smells wonderful and it comes in the cutest box.
I love beauty boxes because they are an amazing way for people to try different beauty products and find what works for them. I think the box is also a smart way for people to save money.

Have an amazing weekend, ya'll!
